Rep. Wasserman Schultz discusses health insurance reform and reconciliation on MSNBC’s Countdown

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz appeared on MSNBCs Countdown to discuss health care reform and the reconciliation process. Congresswoman Wasserman Schultz and the President believe that the American people and small business owners should have the same insurance choices and consumer rights afforded to members of Congress and federal employees. The Congresswoman also addressed reconciliation, and how this rule, requiring a simple majority, was used to pass the 2001 Bush tax cuts for the wealthy that was nearly twice the size of this bill. If Republicans say that they agree with 80% of the existing health care bill, then why do they want to start over? Starting over means doing nothing for the American people.
