Today, we join the country in remembering the six million Jews, and countless others, who were murdered during the Holocaust as well as the families torn apart and those who survived it.

Washington, DC – Today, the Congressional Caucus on Black-Jewish Relations Co-Chair Representatives Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (FL-23), Brenda Lawrence (MI-14), and Lee Zeldin (NY-01) issued the following statement on Holocaust Remembrance Day, Yom HaShoah:

“Today, we join the country in remembering the six million Jews, and countless others, who were murdered during the Holocaust as well as the families torn apart and those who survived it. We keep their memories and stories alive to ensure that every American knows and understands this history. ‘Never Again’ is more than just a phrase, it’s a promise that we will never allow this evil and atrocity to happen again. Every single one of us has a responsibility to call out anti-Semitism, hate, racism, and discrimination wherever we see it. As Members of Congress and Co-Chairs of the Congressional Caucus on Black-Jewish Relations, we are committed to preserving the truth and dark history of the Holocaust and advancing policies to combat hate. Today and every day, we remember.”
