Wasserman Schultz tagged as congressional insider with brightest future

For its next issue, National Journal, the insider publication about goings on in Washington, D.C., asked congressional and political insiders to name their favorite and least favorites, the brightest thinkers, and best thinkers.
In the top category, in which congressional insiders were asked who has the brightest future, U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Weston, was at the top of hte list with 16 percent.
Earlier this week, Wasserman Schultz announced that she’s beefing up operations of her leadership political action committee — called DWS PAC — by hiring an executive director. Some have speculated that Wasserman Schultz could end up as a speaker of the House.
