POST DEBATE STATEMENT FROM CONGRESSWOMAN DEBBIE WASSERMAN SCHULTZ
(Weston, FL) – Please credit the following statement to US Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Democrat of Florida’s 23rd Congressional District:
“I’m honored to represent the people of Florida’s 23rd Congressional District and this morning I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to discuss the issues that matter most in this election,” said Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz. “We have a lot to do. The stakes in this election couldn’t be higher. We have to stop Donald Trump and his friends and elect Hillary Clinton and a Democratic Congress this November.
“From fighting to ensure that South Florida has the tools that we desperately need to combat the Zika virus, to strengthening Social Security, and ensuring a safe and secure Israel, it’s clear that we must rise together to meet the challenges and opportunities that this election holds for all of us. You know me: this is what I do. It’s what I have always done to serve our community – and I hope to have your support on August 30th so I can continue to represent you in the nation’s capitol, which has been the greatest privilege of my professional life.”
